Dear PCCG 2022 presenters,
Related to the forthcoming Polish Conference on Crystal Growth 2022 it is planned to publish a special issue in the Wiley-VCH journal Crystal Research and Technology (CRAT). In collaboration with the Guest Editors, the Meeting Organizers and the CRAT Editorial Office we cordially invite you to contribute a Research Article based on your oral or poster presentation. Invited speakers will have the opportunity to submit Review Articles.
Crystal Research and Technology is an international journal covering all the relevant aspects of crystal growth techniques and phenomena (e.g. bulk growth, thin films); modern crystalline materials (e.g. smart materials, nanocrystals, quasicrystals, liquid crystals); industrial crystallization; application of crystals in materials science, electronics, data storage, and optics; experimental, simulation and theoretical studies of the structural properties of crystals; crystallographic computing. Moreover, Crystal Research and Technology received an Impact Factor of 1.639 (2021 Journal Citation Reports) this year.
Published in Wiley Online Library Accepted Articles and Early View shortly after acceptance, your article is citable with DOI or article number immediately; hence there is no waiting for the remainder of the contributions. When all articles are complete, the special issue will be assembled in a regular monthly issue of CRAT. Such a clustering of related articles will raise their visibility significantly, and we are confident that this will become a top publication reflected by high article access and citation numbers. Submitted manuscripts will undergo editorial evaluation and, if considered appropriate, subsequent peer review. According to the editorial policy of CRAT, two positive recommendations by independent referees are a prerequisite of acceptance. Peer review and publication occur on individual manuscript basis.
